OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL School in black and white

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our centennial celebration.

From 1925 to today, the halls of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Elementary School have held a century of stories.

Our school celebrated its 100th anniversary with past and present members of the community. The event began with an Eucharistic Liturgy led by Rev. Paul Kavanagh, followed by remarks from Chief Superintendent Lynnette Anderson, Ward papastew City Councillor Michael Janz, and Ward 75 Trustee Alene Mutala. Students then guided guests on tours, with spaces throughout the school transformed to showcase displays and memorabilia representing its 100-year history.

We also received an Apostolic Blessing from Pope Leo XIV in recognition of this milestone. In the evening, the Alumni Centennial Gathering brought former students and staff together to reconnect and reflect on their time at OLMC.

We look forward to the next 100 years!
