Safety Requirements

• Provide designated parking or access to a loading area upon arrival. 
• A one-room/area setup for the program is the best option. Teachers/custodians should be prepared to wipe off surfaces and sweep the floor upon completion of the program. 
• There is a minimum charge of 15 students per session
• Cost is $16 per student

Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes. Please note that we are not able to break for recess. Hi Andrea!

My Grade 2 class has 26 students, and all 4 teachers have requested Trudy's Rock.

Would it be possible to switch the Grade 1 time to 2:00–3:00 and the Grade 3 time to 10:00–11:00? The Grade 3 class has Sports Academy students who are away for hockey and soccer in the afternoon, so the morning time would work much better for them.

The Grade 2 and Grade 2/3 times look good as they are.

We have all the October dates open! Due to how crowded the Kilns get, we do not offer story beads in November or December, as story beads need a mighty different firing schedule than the holiday ornament madness brings. Please let me know which one you would like! I have also attached a copy of the available books we have if you would like one of our indigenous and First Nations stories! You also have the option to have them make up their own story or any other vision you would have! Please note that there will be a slight increase in price to $16 per student. Hiya, We can do (currently) April 7th, 14th, and 19th . Please let me know which of those three dates works best for you, as well as whether you would prefer to schedule both workshops in the morning or both in the afternoon. Once I know your preference, we can work out the exact session times. One little scheduling note when you're looking at your school day: our workshops need their full session time, so unfortunately we can’t adventure through recess midway through a workshop! Please keep your recess times in mind when choosing the time slots.

Hi Kristine! We would love to visit your Grade 2 class at Our Lady of Mount Carmel for an in-school fused glass workshop. We are currently very flexible on dates, as we have five instructors on staff this year, so we should have plenty of options to work around your classroom schedule. Do you have a particular project in mind? If you're thinking of something seasonal, that may help us narrow down the best time of year and date for your workshop. Once I have an idea of what you'd like your students to create, I can send over some date options, and we can go from there (or send me some ideal dates that work for you). When booking two sessions, the cost will be $15+GST per student, if you would like to invite one-two more classes for the same day, the cost would drop to $14+GST per student
